Entry reconfiguration approved

The current court action focuses on approvals for the eastern part of the site designated for a marina.

But negotiations are also dragging on with council over the conditions it imposed on the western (business park) section of the site.

Mr Smith said negotiations were continuing in good faith and he was hopeful of an outcome before the end of the year. However progress has been painfully slow.  

Meanwhile council has approved a reconfiguration of the site’s lot boundaries that will allow the entry to the site from Buckley Road and into the business park itself.  

That approval involves a subdivision of an allotment on Trafalgar Drive near the Buchanan Road interchange, where a landscaped entry (pictured) is planned.
